What’s Covered for Apple EDU
1. Limited Lifetime Warranty on Manufacturing Defects
For Apple EDU purchases, STM provides a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for applicable products*.
If your STM product has a verified manufacturing defect at any time during its useful life, we’ll repair or replace it at no charge. This warranty reflects our confidence in the quality and longevity of our designs.
* “Lifetime” means the period during which the product is manufactured and supported by STM. Coverage is subject to the terms and conditions listed below.
2. 4-Year Damage Warranty
In addition to the lifetime defect coverage, Apple EDU purchases receive up to 4 years of damage warranty protection beyond normal wear and tear.
This additional coverage is designed to support Apple EDU users with extended peace of mind, recognizing the real-world demands placed on educational devices and accessories.
What this means:
During the 4-year damage warranty period, if your STM product experiences accidental damage or other issues not related to manufacturing defects, you may be eligible for replacement or repair per the terms outlined in this warranty.
How to File a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, please:
1. Fill out our Apple EDU Warranty Claim Form
2. Include a copy of your proof of purchase from Apple EDU.

General Warranty Terms
The Apple EDU warranty coverage is tailored for educational institutional purchases through Apple. Coverage applies only to qualifying STM products purchased through authorized Apple EDU channels.
Exclusions & Limitations:
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, improper care, unauthorized alterations, or normal wear and tear may not be covered under the limited lifetime warranty but may be considered under the 4-year damage warranty.
Warranty replacements do not include customizations such as embroidery or printing.
STM’s obligations under this warranty are limited to repair or replacement; incidental, consequential, or indirect losses are excluded.

For all other products (non-Apple EDU purchases), please refer to our standard warranty page. STM reserves the right to update warranty terms as needed.
